About CraftoMate Fonts

CraftoMate Fonts is a small independent type studio. I design display fonts for makers, crafters and small brands, and I make custom fonts on request: a one-of-a-kind typeface built for your name, your brand or your project.

Every font is sold in the CraftoMate shop on Etsy, which handles checkout, receipts and instant downloads. This website is where you can browse the whole collection, see each font in detail and find new releases first.

What I make

There are two sides to CraftoMate Fonts. The first is a growing collection of ready-made display fonts: bubble letters, retro and groovy scripts, varsity and western slabs, pixel fonts, camo, seasonal designs and more. They are made for the projects people actually do: shirts, mugs, signs, stickers, invitations, packaging, logos and social media graphics.

The second side is custom fonts: a typeface made only for you, your name, your brand or your product line. If you have ever searched for a font and thought “close, but not quite”, this is for you.

Custom fonts, made for you

A custom font gives your business or project a voice that nobody else has. Instead of picking something from a catalog that thousands of other shops already use, you get letterforms built around your idea: your handwriting, your sketches, your logo style or simply a written description of the mood you want.

Custom fonts work especially well for:

  • small brands and Etsy sellers who want packaging, labels and product photos that look unmistakably theirs,
  • wedding and event stationery, invitations and signage,
  • teachers, schools and clubs that want a friendly handwriting style for materials,
  • crafters who cut vinyl, wood or paper with a Cricut or Silhouette and want a one-of-a-kind look,
  • anyone who wants their own handwriting turned into a font they can type with.

How a custom font project works

  1. Tell me what you need. Send a message through the contact page: what the font is for, the style you imagine, any sketches, handwriting samples or reference images, and whether you need uppercase only or the full alphabet with numbers and punctuation.
  2. We agree the details. I reply within one or two working days with questions, a clear scope and a price. Nothing is built before you are happy with the plan.
  3. You order through Etsy. Custom fonts are sold in the CraftoMate shop on Etsy, just like the ready-made ones, so checkout, receipts and buyer protection are handled by Etsy.
  4. I design the font. You see the letterforms early, so changes are easy to make before the font is finished.
  5. You receive the finished files. A working TTF and OTF font, plus cut files (SVG, PNG, DXF, EPS) when you want them, and a license that fits your use.

Every project is different, so there is no fixed price list. The price depends on the style, the number of characters and how you plan to use the font. Send me a message and you will get a straightforward answer.

Why the fonts are sold on Etsy

All CraftoMate fonts are sold in the CraftoMate shop on Etsy. Etsy takes care of the checkout, the receipts and the instant download, which means you buy from a marketplace you already know and trust. This website is the place to browse the whole collection, see every font in detail with real previews, read the guides and find new releases first.

Buying a font is simple:

  1. Pick a font on this site and press Buy on Etsy.
  2. Check out on Etsy the way you would for any other item.
  3. Download the files straight away from your Etsy purchases page.
  4. Install the font on your computer, tablet or phone and start creating.

What comes with every font

  • TTF and OTF font files that install on Windows, Mac and iPad (Procreate),
  • SVG, PNG, DXF and EPS files of every character, ready for Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio,
  • uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation in most fonts, and common accented letters where included,
  • a commercial license, so you can use the font on products you sell, in logos and in client work,
  • an instant digital download. Nothing is shipped.

How the fonts are made

I like to be open about the process. The letterforms are created with the help of AI tools, then I convert them into vectors, clean up the shapes, set the spacing and kerning, add accented letters and build them into real, installable fonts. Every listing says so. The result is an actual font you can type with, not a picture of letters.

Licensing in plain words

You can use the fonts for personal and commercial projects, such as shirts, mugs, signs, packaging, invitations, logos and social media posts. You may not resell, share or give away the font files themselves. The full terms are on the font license page. If you are unsure whether your idea is covered, just ask.

Questions people ask

Can you make a font from my handwriting?

Yes. Send a clear scan or photo of your handwriting through the contact page and tell me how you plan to use the font. I will reply with what is needed and a price.

Can I use a ready-made font for a logo?

Yes, commercial use is included. If you want a logo that nobody else can have, a custom font is the better choice.

Do the fonts work in Cricut Design Space and Canva?

The fonts install like any other font, and the SVG cut files work in Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio. In Canva, uploading your own fonts requires a Canva Pro plan.

Is anything shipped to me?

No. Every product is a digital download that you get instantly from Etsy after payment.

What if something is wrong with my files?

Message me through Etsy or the contact page and I will make it right. Digital items follow Etsy’s rules for digital downloads.
