Commercial Use Font License, Explained Simply
A commercial-use font license lets you use a font on things you sell, such as shirts, mugs, stickers and logos. It does not let you resell or share the font files.
Usually allowed
- Printing the font on products you sell
- Using it in your business logo and branding
- Using it in digital products where the text is part of an image
Usually not allowed
- Giving or selling the font file to others
- Putting the font file inside a template that customers can edit and install
Always read the license that comes with the font. If your use is unclear, ask the seller before you buy.
