This Privacy Policy explains what personal data CraftoMate Fonts (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, how we use it and what rights you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Who is responsible for your data

The website is run by CraftoMate, the trading name of the site owner. You can reach us at any time through the contact form.

What we collect and why

  • Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the time of sign-up in the website database. We use it only to tell you about new fonts and offers from CraftoMate. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address and message and use them only to reply. We delete these messages when the matter is closed or after a reasonable period, normally within 12 months.
  • Free font downloads. You can download free fonts without creating an account. The download is a normal file request; we do not ask for personal data to download.
  • Cookie choice. A small cookie remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Analytics (optional). If we turn on Google Analytics 4, it loads only after you click Accept. It collects anonymous usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are used.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a short period.

Etsy and other external sites

Paid fonts are sold on Etsy. When you click a “Buy on Etsy” link you leave this website, and Etsy’s own privacy policy and terms apply to your order, payment and download. We do not receive your payment details.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We may use service providers that process data on our behalf, for example our web hosting provider and, if you subscribe, an email service used to send newsletters. They may process data only for those purposes.

How long we keep data

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Cookie and analytics data follow the periods in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a place with similar laws, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in Finland: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman). To use your rights, contact us through the contact form.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove your address through the contact form.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
