About Floral
The basic letters are thick and rounded, like a friendly sign painter's alphabet. That strong silhouette keeps words readable from a distance. Inside the strokes the floral cut-outs give a second level of detail that you only notice when you come closer, which is what makes the font feel special on a card, a shirt or a label. The white shapes are real holes in the letters, so whatever background you place the text on shows through the flowers. A black word on a pastel card turns into a flower-filled word with the card color inside it.

Working with a cut-out font
Because the blossoms are cut out of the letters, the font works best with solid, simple backgrounds. Light colors inside the holes look lovely: put black letters on cream, pink, mint or yellow, or use white letters on deep green or navy so the flowers show the darker background. In print the holes show the paper color; in cutting projects they become tiny pieces of negative space, so choose a size that allows your machine to cut them cleanly.
For vinyl, use a slightly larger size and keep the text short. Weeding the small holes takes a few minutes, so a tweezers or a weeding tool helps. For heat-transfer vinyl on shirts, choose letters that are at least a few centimeters tall so the small flowers remain clear. For laser engraving, the holes stay crisp and look attractive on wood and acrylic.
Layout ideas
Use the font for one word, not a paragraph. "Bloom", "Garden", "Happy Birthday", "Hello Spring", "Love" and names of children or plants all look wonderful. Pair it with a plain sans-serif for small supporting text, and keep the layout airy. A thin line, a simple leaf or a small stem next to the text is enough decoration, because the letters already bring flowers.
If you are making a poster, set a large word and place a smaller line of text underneath. Add a color block behind the word to create a sticker-like look. For a gift tag, center a short message and tie a ribbon through a hole.
