How to Install a Font on Windows and Mac

To install a font, unzip your download and open the TTF or OTF file. On Windows, right-click the file and choose Install. On a Mac, double-click it and choose Install Font. Restart your design program afterwards so it picks up the new font.

Install a font on Windows

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Right-click the .ttf or .otf file.
  3. Choose Install (or Install for all users).
  4. Restart Cricut Design Space, Photoshop or Word.

Install a font on Mac

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Double-click the font file.
  3. Click Install Font in Font Book.
  4. Restart your design program.

If the font does not show up

Close the program completely and open it again. Cricut Design Space lists installed fonts under System, not under Cricut. In Canva, uploading fonts needs a Canva Pro plan.
